We want to inspire and empower Louisiana’s youth through the game of rugby. We strive to unite players, coaches, referees, volunteers, parents, and supporters to develop and improve the sport we all love.

We envision a future where rugby thrives in Louisiana, with sustainable programs that build community, promote inclusivity, and inspire the next generation of players. By introducing the game to younger audiences and fostering a supportive environment for growth, we aim to leave a lasting legacy of rugby excellence in the state.
Our Impact
Since our founding in 2012 as a federal 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Louisiana Rugby has expanded access to rugby for youth and high school communities. With roots dating back to 1999, we’ve worked to establish sustainable teams across diverse locations and populations, providing opportunities for young athletes to experience the benefits of teamwork, discipline, and leadership.
Through partnerships with USA Rugby, local schools, and community organizations, we continue to foster a lifelong passion for the game while creating a positive impact on and off the field.
