About the Event
Baton Rouge Area Youth Rugby has partnered with Louisiana rugby, Major Lee Rugby Nola gold and Imagine Rugby to bring us to the world stage, rugby. Flag rugby is a great introduction to the sport of rugby, as it allows children to learn the basic skills and rules of the game in a safe and non-contact environment. It's also a great way to stay active and healthy during the summer months, and provides an opportunity for kids to make new friends and build valuable teamwork and communication skills. Rugby has a strong and growing following in the United States, and by introducing children to the sport at a young age, Baton Rouge Area Youth Rugby will be on a strong competitive playing field!

Giving Tuesday means you can either donate a $75 scholarship to youth in U10/U14 to play a season. Coed U14 and U10 Tournaments: Jan 25 Redfish Baton Rouge Feb 1 Westbank Gretna Feb 8 Coquille Covington Feb 15 NOLA Gold Metairie Feb 22 Mardi Gras Rugby Tournament In addition, each youth will need to register $25.99 with USA Rugby (Rugby Xplorer) to compete in the tournaments. The registration is good for one rugby calendar year (Jan-Dec).
