The Pontchartrain Po-Boys are the current champions of the annual Markel Cup rugby tournament. The team won the 2017 competition in our first year as a club.
The Po-Boys are a great way to learn the game of rugby and play with a variety of skill levels. For some, the Markel Cup/The Po-Boys are a perfect mix of social and competitive rugby…not quite as demanding as the Spring New Orleans Rugby Club schedule. Most games are in New Orleans and there’s not much travel involved. Many Po-Boys also play with the Division 2 of New Orleans RFC.
